Who is it?
The cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon), otherwise known as the American cranberry, is a plant from overseas, not to be confused with the brother that you can meet here, the other cranberry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea) and even less the bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus), which we usually think of.
The cranberry has a large number of flavonoids and very high contents of vitamin C.
The main action to which it is called to carry out, in the organism of dogs and cats, is to prevent bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall or to favor its detachment.
The active ingredients of cranberry also act as a scavenger of free radicals, that is, transforming them into non-toxic compounds for the body.
